Sexual assault lawsuit against the estate of artist Norval Morrisseau is dismissed – The Art Newspaper

The lawsuit introduced by a British Columbia man in opposition to the property of the First Nations artist Norval Morrisseau (1932-2007) alleging he was sexually assaulted by the painter has been dismissed. The dismissal order says the case was dismissed “for all functions” and with out prices to any occasion. Jacobson said that he “categorically denies” that he requested to be appointed as “religious successor or gatekeeper of the Woodlands type”.
