“His circumstances are extraordinary in each means that issues to sentencing: his private historical past and traits, his function within the charged offenses, the pace with which he cooperated, his response to the collapse of FTX, and the way he has rebuilt his life since then,” his attorneys wrote.

Additionally they described him as an “uncommonly selfless particular person” and that his “function was much more restricted than every other defendant.”

In February 2023, Singh was charged with withdrawing $6 million of buyer funds to Alameda Analysis from FTX. He pleaded responsible to 6 felony fees together with fraud and conspiracy to commit cash laundering.

Singh additionally testified in opposition to his former boss and CEO of FTX, Sam Bankman-Fried in October.

Bankman-Fried was sentenced to 25 years in jail after being discovered responsible of fraud and conspiracy fees. Caroline Ellison, the previous CEO of Alameda Analysis, was handed a 24-month jail sentence in September. Former FTX govt Ryan Salame was sentenced to 90 months in jail in Might.

Singh is predicted to be sentenced on October 30.
