Editorial Standards & Ethics

Catatonic Times is an independent crypto research and news publication. These standards govern everything we publish.

Sourcing

Every article links its primary sources — filings, court documents, on-chain data, and original reporting — so readers can verify every claim themselves. We never invent quotes, statistics, or sources. When we analyze another outlet’s reporting, we cite and link the original publisher directly.

Market data

All price levels and market statistics come from live market data captured at the time of writing, never from memory or estimates. Publication timestamps reflect when the data was captured.

Opinion vs. fact

Market outlooks, price scenarios, and forecasts are clearly framed as the desk’s view — never as guarantees and never as financial advice. Every analysis states an invalidation level: the condition under which we would consider the thesis wrong.

Conflicts of interest

Catatonic Times holds no undisclosed positions in assets we cover on the day of publication. We do not accept payment for coverage. Sponsored content, if any, is labeled unambiguously.

Corrections

We publish corrections prominently. See our Corrections Policy. To report an error, use our contact form.

Not financial advice

Everything we publish is research, analysis, and opinion — not investment, legal, or tax advice. Crypto assets are volatile and you can lose your entire investment.
