She took the helm in 2023 with the mandate to construct Tinworks right into a sustainable long-term arts organisation. Even dialogue of including facilities similar to bogs turned contentious throughout Moore’s tenure.

“A lot of what I discovered from Chinati has helped us make higher knowledgeable selections about this website,” says Moore, who appreciates being “initially of a brand new artwork area within the west and having the chance to assume expansively and flexibly about how these buildings may be totally in service to the artists we’re working with and their installations”.

Below Moore’s management, Tinworks has offered exhibitions by Theaster Gates, Gabriel Chaile, Lucy Raven, Stephen Shore and Layli Lengthy Soldier, amongst others, in numerous methods impressed by the panorama of the American west. Moore anticipates rising her organisation’s annual working finances by 70% with the addition of Tinworks at Rialto and the opening of the reimagined mill constructing subsequent yr. Annual attendance has roughly doubled from 2024 to 2025 with 12,000 guests this yr, a determine Moore expects to a minimum of double once more with year-round programming.
