Cultural workers in Tel Aviv stage silent protest against ‘the destruction of Gaza’ – The Art Newspaper

Yesterday night cultural employees in Tel Aviv gathered in a silent protest to “stand in opposition to the destruction of Gaza”. Artists, curators, musicians, authors, photographers and poets assembled near what has develop into generally known as “hostages sq.”, surrounded by The Cameri Theater, the Tel Aviv Museum of Artwork, the Beit Ariela Library, and the Israeli Opera constructing.

In the midst of the protest a bunch of musicians performed in a single sustained notice, meant to resemble the sound of Israeli Defence Power (IDF) drones above Palestinians in Gaza, and as a tribute to the work of Ahmed Muin Abu Amsha, a Gaza-based musician and instructor.
